Morey began his 28-year financial services career at Merrill Lynch in 1995. After ten years, he moved his practice to UBS Financial Services. In 2023, Morey joined the team at Legacy Wealth Management in Denver, Colorado, as Senior Vice President. He works with high-net-worth individuals and families, professional athletes, small business owners, and next generation executives.

Morey takes pride in being involved in his clients' financial lives and helping them make important financial decisions. He understands that each client has unique financial goals and family dynamics, and he strives to find the best financial solutions to protect clients' families and legacies. Morey's strong interpersonal and communication skills allow him to delve into various aspects of his clients' financial lives, including retirement and education planning, retirement income planning, estate planning, and philanthropic goals. Morey finds great joy in witnessing plans that were put into place years ago come to fruition for the benefit of his clients and their families.

Morey is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®). He is among a select group of professionals who have earned this internationally recognized credential. To earn his CIMA® certification, Morey completed an intensive educational program and final examination covering Modern Portfolio Theory, Asset Allocation, Manager Search and Selection, Investment Policy, and Performance Measurement. He also successfully completed an intensive investment management analysis curriculum for eligibility to sit for the exam.

Morey attended Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and earned his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Colorado. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending quality time with his family. He and his wife, Kara, reside in Colorado with their three children: Parker, Addison, and Raleigh.
