Shadia emigrated from the Middle East to Detroit in 1971. Her parents and four siblings eventually moved to St. Clair Shores, a suburb of Detroit, to attend higher education schools. She is proud of becoming a Naturalized US Citizen while attending Wayne State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Math & Business Administration. In addition, Shadia holds the Series 7, Series 66 Registrations, and Life, Variable Annuity, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance licenses. Her career path includes working for Morgan Stanley, Prudential Securities, Stifel Nicholas and Wells Fargo Advisors, prior to when Doug Wood and herself joined the Legacy team.
She takes great pride in being customer focused for Legacy's clients by providing information quickly to meet their financial needs. From 401(k) options, sending out student college tuition to website logins and various administrative needs, Shadia is recognized for simplifying the lives of Legacy's clients.
Family is most important to Shadia. She's very proud of her children, Natalia (21), Athena (19) and Benjamin (15), who are all “super-talented, smart, and adventurous”. From sewing uniforms to chaperoning Band trips, most of her free time goes to being a 'Band-Mom' for Michigan's 4th-ranked L'Anse Creuse High School Marching Band. Shadia enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, exercising, yoga and relaxing near her pool.
