Shadia Joudi-DeDecker

Shadia emigrated from the Middle East to Detroit in 1971. Her parents and four siblings eventually moved to St. Clair Shores, a suburb of Detroit, to attend higher education schools. She is proud of becoming a Naturalized US Citizen while attending Wayne State University, where she received a Bachelor’s in Math & Business Administration degree. In addition, Shadia holds the Series 7, Series 66 Securities Registrations, Life, Variable Annuity, Health and Long-Term Care Insurance Licenses. Her career path includes working for Morgan Stanley, Stifel Nicholas and Prudential prior to when Doug Wood, Partner, Legacy Wealth Management and she joined the Legacy team.
She takes great pride in being customer focused for Legacy’s clients by providing information quickly to meet their financial needs. From 401(k) options, sending out student college tuition to website logins and various administrative needs, Shadia is recognized for simplifying the lives of Legacy’s clients.
Family is most important to Shadia. She’s very proud of her children, Natalia, Athena and Benjamin, who are all “super-talented, smart, adventurous”. With the last two still in college, she still stays very involved in their everyday lives. They love to travel, have dinner and visit with family often. Shadia enjoys gardening, reading, traveling, exercising, yoga and relaxing near her pool.
